Account deletion guide
You can request account deletion in the Feynote app or through our company email. We need to verify your identity again to prevent someone else from deleting your account.
Delete in the app
- Open Feynote and go to your profile.
- Choose Privacy & Data or Delete Account.
- Read the deletion scope, verify your identity and explicitly confirm.
- After submission, the app signs out and stops synchronization.
Request by email
If you cannot sign in, use your account email address to contact zouzhigang@feynote.work with the subject “Feynote account deletion request”. We will take necessary steps to verify account ownership.
Deletion scope
Account deletion covers the following information associated with your account:
- Account details, linked sign-in identities and active sessions;
- Cloud notes, historical versions and capture drafts;
- Learning projects, exercises, feedback, evidence of understanding and delayed verification records;
- Recordings, transcripts, OAuth authorizations and in-app feedback.
Processing time and exceptions
Verified deletion requests are normally completed within 15 business days. Information necessary for legal obligations, dispute resolution, fraud prevention or system security may be retained separately for the required or necessary period, then deleted or anonymized.
Revoke third-party authorization
Deleting Feynote does not delete your Apple or Google account. You can also revoke Feynote sign-in authorization in that account's security settings.
